What remains human in an age of artificial intelligence?
Magnificent Remains is an original song and cinematic film inspired by Pope Leo XIV’s Magnifica Humanitas, exploring artificial intelligence, human dignity, and the future of humanity.
Through music, imagery, and human-machine collaboration, the film reflects on faith, creativity, love, forgiveness, peace, and hope. It invites us to consider what truly matters as technology continues to transform our world—and what we must preserve about our shared humanity.
This project brings together original song writing, vocal performance, music production, and AI-assisted filmmaking. The film features my own image and voice, my original lyrics, and my creative vision, my face , my editing with AI used as an assisting tool throughout the creative process.
As an artist, filmmaker, musician, and researcher, I see AI not as a replacement for human creativity, but as another tool through which we can explore ideas, tell stories, and express what it means to be human. This film is an example of human-machine collaboration, with the technology supporting the creative process while the human vision remains at its heart.
