وَقَالَتْ صِهْيَوْنُ: «قَدْ تَرَكَنِي الرَّبُّ وَسَيِّدِي نَسِينِي».

‏And Quds, she cried and said: “He has left me, He has truly forgotten me.”

هَلْ تَنْسَى الْمَرْأَةُ رَضِيعَهَا فَلاَ تَرْحَمَ ابْنَ بَطْنِهَا؟

‏Can a woman forget her baby? Her own nursing child? ‏So she would show no mercy to the child of her own womb?

حَتَّى هَؤُلاَءِ يَنْسِينَ وَأَنَا لاَ أَنْسَاكِ

‏Yay, even a mother might forget her own child: But I will never forget you.

هُوَذَا عَلَى كَفَّيَّ نَقَشْتُكِ. أَسْوَارُكِ أَمَامِي دَائِماً

All you need to do is look around! I have inscribed you on the walls: the palms of my hand standing, continually borne outward for you.

Whenever I go about I see you!

قَدْ أَسْرَعَ بَنُوكِ. هَادِمُوكِ وَمُخْرِبُوكِ مِنْكِ يَخْرُجُونَ

Urge the children to make fast! Tell the little ones to make haste! And the one who ravaged you— made waste —will flee

اِرْفَعِي عَيْنَيْكِ حَوَالَيْكِ وَانْظُرِي. كُلُّهُمْ قَدِ اجْتَمَعُوا أَتُوا إِلَيْكِ. حَيٌّ أَنَا يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ: إِنَّكِ تَلْبِسِينَ كُلَّهُمْ كَحُلِيٍّ وَتَتَنَطَّقِينَ بِهِمْ كَعَرُوسٍ

Lift up your head, lift up your eyes! Look all around about you and see! all these have gathered themselves together, and come to you. They have all come together for you! As surely as I live says the Soveign God: you shall don them all like jewels You shall gird yourself with them like a groom, deck yourself with them like a bride!

إِنَّ خِرَبَكِ وَبَرَارِيَّكِ وَأَرْضَ خَرَابِكِ إِنَّكِ تَكُونِينَ الآنَ ضَيِّقَةً عَلَى السُّكَّانِ وَيَتَبَاعَدُ مُبْتَلِعُوكِ.

As for your ruins, your desolate place, and your devastated land—you will soon be overpacked, cramped with its resettlers, and those who tried to eat you, to devour you & swallow you up will be cast far away.

يَقُولُ أَيْضاً فِي أُذُنَيْكِ بَنُو ثُكْلِكِ: «ضَيِّقٌ عَلَيَّ الْمَكَانُ. وَسِّعِي لِي لأَسْكُنَ»

The children you thought you had lost Shall yet say in your ear, “The place is too crowded for me; Make room for me to sit!”

فَتَقُولِينَ فِي قَلْبِكِ: «مَنْ وَلَدَ لِي هَؤُلاَءِ وَأَنَا ثَكْلَى وَعَاقِرٌ مَنْفِيَّةٌ وَمَطْرُودَةٌ؟ وَهَؤُلاَءِ مَنْ رَبَّاهُمْ؟ هَئَنَذَا كُنْتُ مَتْرُوكَةً وَحْدِي. هَؤُلاَءِ أَيْنَ كَانُوا؟»

Then you will say in your heart: "Who bore these for me, seeing I was bereaved and barren—exiled and cast out? And who raised them? I was, left all alone! From where could they have come?"

هَكَذَا قَالَ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ: «هَا إِنِّي أَرْفَعُ إِلَى الأُمَمِ يَدِي وَإِلَى الشُّعُوبِ أُقِيمُ رَايَتِي فَيَأْتُونَ بِأَوْلاَدِكِ فِي الأَحْضَانِ وَبَنَاتُكِ عَلَى الأَكْتَافِ يُحْمَلْنَ.

Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will lift up My Hand ✋🏾 to the nations and raise up My Banner unto the peoples: and they shall carry your sons in their arms, and your daughters on their shoulders.

وَيَكُونُ الْمُلُوكُ حَاضِنِيكِ وَسَيِّدَاتُهُمْ مُرْضِعَاتِكِ. بِالْوُجُوهِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ يَسْجُدُونَ لَكِ وَيَلْحَسُونَ غُبَارَ رِجْلَيْكِ فَتَعْلَمِينَ أَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ الَّذِي لاَ يَخْزَىمُنْتَظِرُوهُ».

"Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your wetnurses; they shall bow down to you, face to the ground and lick up the dust of your feet. Then you shall know that I am the LORD, for those who trust in Me shall not be ashamed. And those who wait for Me will never be disappointed."

هَلْ تُسْلَبُ مِنَ الْجَبَّارِ غَنِيمَةٌ وَهَلْ يُفْلِتُ سَبْيُ الْمَنْصُورِ؟

Can spoil be skirted away from the mighty, Can captives slip away from the victor?

فَإِنَّهُ هَكَذَا قَالَ الرَّبُّ: «حَتَّى سَبْيُ الْجَبَّارِ يُسْلَبُ وَغَنِيمَةُ الْعَاتِي تُفْلِتُ. وَأَنَا أُخَاصِمُ مُخَاصِمَكِ وَأُخَلِّصُ أَوْلاَدَكِ

Thus says the Lord: "Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of that terrible tyrant shall be rescued; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will deliver your children."

وَأَطْعِمُ ظَالِمِيكِ لَحْمَ أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَيَسْكَرُونَ بِدَمِهِمْ كَمَا مِنْ سُلاَفٍ فَيَعْلَمُ كُلُّ بَشَرٍ أَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ مُخَلِّصُكِ وَفَادِيكِ عَزِيزُ يَعْقُوبَ».

“I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh, They shall become drunk with their own blood as with wine. And all humankind will know That I  GOD am your Savior, Your Deliverer Your Redeemer, the King Creator of the Universe, the Master of all Deeds, Causes, Events & Outcomes. The Champion of all Little ones.”
