@metamitya I did invite my guitarist mate to join Treechat. Sent out one more link, or a screenshot of treechat, and unless they are lurking, im not aware of one person that has known or known more than the letters BSV in Canberra. It's a strange place, they have a saying which people post on twitter, the canberra bubble, as in we ate oblivious or in our own world is what i think it means. I've got this link embeded in that black and white image which is a skater doing a duckwalk kind of thing forwards and backwards repeating and doing this funny thing with his hands . So i designed it to prvoke curiosity in people stalking me online and posted on substack thats it ill be on treechat from now on so everyone that looks me up and scrolls a bit on my substack finds the treechat gif, and if they click on it once it takes thenm direct to treechat login page . So its possible ive somehow at least caused more people than anyone to see the treechat logo and one click and there on the login page. It would have to be at least a few, some of my family said is that you on substack , So its possible there is a group of people that have heard of it. But if they have they are keeping it to themselves as far as im aware. Sorry promotion isnt one of my strengths. But now that the topic has come up im thinking about it. I even have told a few people a fair few to download handcash and ill send you a Bitcoin and na. The psychology of it i find fascinateing and challenging . A fair few years ago i really got into trying to see if icould get followers on facebook and twitter and i think i somehow managed to get close to two thousand on each trying various methods , on twitter i found the middle eastern part of the world is , its like they follow you back a few of them and then Somehow it cascaded and you could say i brute forced the task and then i had a fair few people maybe over 500 hundred at least people i didnt know from middle eastern countries following and a fair few of those accounts had a hundred thousand followers each so there is serious networking oportunities there if you pursued the brute force methods i was implementing . Then facebook i followed a lot heaps of tatto culture folks from around the world cos i was still into art somewat, and tried and succeeded to get followers from all continents of the world .
So i guess it would have to be possible to brute force the task of signing up at least 4000 people to Treechat via twitter and facebook alone trying different stuff till you find something that works. As i said the middle east seems to be into their social media in a big way and i found they really respond well to people from Australia following them on twitter, and even though theres the language barrier, i found liking and sharing a photo of theres was getting recipricating results. I imagined a lot of people from the middle east presume people from australia are rasict and not interested in following large numbers of people and interacting from that part of world.
But if i had to pick one path i would focus on the middle east . To expand Treechat user base. I have a feeling they would love treechat, from that part of the world, as i think its very common even for people from croatia to send money from australia back to their friends and fam. And treechat would knock their sox off in middle east. While on the topic of followers i must appologize sincerely for unfollowing all my followers on treechat, i dont expect you guys to forgive me. But i assure you there was no malice or ill will involved, i found my mental health improved out of sit e when i stopped focusing on followers on twitter. And then implemented the rule no followerswatsoever on substack . Ok could go on and on . And explain in detail, but ive said way to much .and i dont expect anyone to understand or condone the act. I used to see people on social media with thousands or more followers and they followed no one. And and it seemed strange and snobish and rude to me. But yeah had to push myself bigtime to follow through with my decision to post every day here. As people on treechat are far more friendly than substack but yeah was really finding the solitude On substack theraputic. And as i am using my real name on both maybe for the first time inlong time Im kind of not comfortable with social media at all it causes me imense mental episodes. But believe it or not the only reason i joined substack didnt even know it was social media was to like a post shared on twitter from substack of Babbage and in order to like the post it was necessary to sign up. Damn sorry again but yeah sticking to my rule of not focusing on following im hoping people will accept me for who i am and not allow the no followers rule as a last ditch attempt to save my sanity to impact any friendships whatsoever.
Yeah so the middle east Sir , is what i would focus on if you want to rapidly increase activity on treechat . Ok goodnight.
