I remember now the post i origionally wanted to post.
I remember now the post i origionally wanted to post.
Before i drifted. Ok we have a misconseption that Bitcoin is clunky and that it takes ten minutes for transactions to be finalized.
As i am not a wiz with Bitcoin , just into it. I dont have the whole answer. But do have a couple of thoughts.
So Bitcoin was designed with some very specific elements that people embracing the crypto version, or the belief that BTC, BCH or one of the many crypto style versions of Bitcoin, is in fact acceptable, superior, to BSV, or from another angle they think BSV is clunky and that one must wait ten minutes with bsv,
I have a problem with this. So just because that may be the case now, i dont think it necesaraly needs to be like that.
The first thing that comes to mind is designing a wallet that somehow has a instant ireversable, un doublespendable, characteristic, and that the blockchains behavior is totally firewalled as in the user is not looking , lets use treechat for example, the clock net to upvalue, how could one design a wallet or make aps that do not have this clunky aspect that people mention. And that once you press send the payment is finalized instantly but , still peer to peer in some cases, more complicated stuff may not actually be peer to peer, as in i dont know, but not everything in bitcoin is peer to peer .
There are other mechanisms outside of this foundational whitepaper description. Like every single aspect piece, part, process, of blockchain activity is not decentralized. I hope you understand this point.
So the absolute necesarry elements were included in the origional protpcol. Thats what they miss, thats the point of this post. To say that bitcoin is clunky, or to say that just because ten minute confirmation times will be eternally the only way the user will experience bitcoin.
So my post my point. Just putting it out there. I have a problem with these two somewhat accepted lets say ways people percieve bitcpin functionality, and find they have been used to lets say put down or describe bitcoin as not a truely remarkable and competative thing.
The other point is i imagine some really fancy ap and wallet design could potentially, i want to believe make lets say for those that want instantaneous and no clunkyness, how can we give it to them. Also this clunky, description, im sure i have read a craig wright essay explaining that some of these what we percieve as inefficient slow clunkyness are in fact sofisticated design choices.
Yes i am hoping i am 100 percent right on this. And it is only a matter of time someone gets my point, without comitting the sin of deviatong from the elegant origional Bitcoin style, like lightning network, and some bsv app designs that could be changed to allow for more origional bitcoin protocol design elements to be able to flourish.
