There was a time when man knelt.

He knelt before golden idols, before kings in purple, before power, before fear, before everything that glittered and threatened. He knelt because he thought he had to. Because the blood in his veins whispered to him: “You are small. You are nothing. Bow your neck.”

Until He came.

Not with a thunderbolt in His hand. Not with an army. Not with a throne of bones. He came with a cross on His shoulders and with a love that did not ask for a bow - only for trust.

And there, on Golgotha, something happened that no Olympus ever understood. The blood of God flowed onto the earth and spoke to the world with one final voice:

“Enough.”

Look at this image.
At those who once ruled storms, seas, and war.
Zeus with his lightning, Poseidon with his trident, Athena in armor, Ares, Apollo, Hera…
All of them kneeling.
All of them bowed.
All of them forced into silence before the One who sits on the throne of light.

Because they desperately wanted to be worshipped.
They wanted altars, sacrifices, fear, and adoration.
And they still want it today.
They still whisper in human hearts, still tempt with pride, power, beauty, and strength.
This battle did not end on Golgotha.
It continues.
Every single day.

But look carefully.
Even they - those who for centuries demanded kneeling - must fall to their knees.
Because before Jesus, everything that once pretended to be a god collapses.

He redeemed.
Not with gold. Not with a sword.
With His blood.

And from that moment, everyone who rises in His name rises no longer as a slave, but as a son.
He no longer has to fall to his knees before any Zeus, before any emperor, before any power of this world.

Because the One before whom all the thrones of heaven and earth kneel has said:

“Rise.
You are free.
And you will never again kneel before anyone -
except Me.”

The battle still rages.
The pagan gods still long to be worshipped.
But the end is already written.

Jesus will triumph.
