BSV New products are being built and launched on BSV constantly. But there is one objective I believe we should put near the top of the list: Make BSV increasingly profitable for miners to mine. That means building useful products that generate real transactions. Not transactions for the sake of inflating a number. Real economic activity. AI agents buying data. Businesses issuing records. Applications making micropayments. Tokenized assets changing hands. Machines paying machines. Games. Markets. Identity. Data. Commerce. Every useful transaction contributes a fee. One transaction may be worth almost nothing to a miner. Billions of transactions are a different story. BTC and BSV compete for the same SHA-256 mining hardware. Miners are businesses, and businesses ultimately have to follow economics. BTC currently has an enormous advantage because of the dollar value of its block subsidy. But that subsidy is cut approximately in half every four years. Eventually, transaction fees have to matter more. That is where BSV has an opportunity. Instead of trying to make individual transactions expensive, BSV’s economic model can pursue enormous numbers of extremely inexpensive transactions. Tiny fee × enormous volume = substantial miner revenue. Imagine BSV reaching the point where the expected revenue from putting a unit of SHA-256 hashpower on BSV consistently exceeds what that same hashpower can earn mining BTC. A switch begins to matter. Mining pools don’t have to believe in BSV. They don’t have to join a movement. They don’t even have to agree about what Bitcoin is. They have to make money. Hashpower can move. And if BSV ever develops enough genuine economic activity to make that decision repeatedly favor BSV, the conversation surrounding Bitcoin changes dramatically. That is why perhaps one of the most important things the BSV community can do isn’t argue about Bitcoin. Build things people and machines actually use. Build products that create transactions. Build businesses that create millions of transactions. Build AI infrastructure capable of creating billions. Give miners an economic reason to pay attention. Because ultimately the most powerful argument for a transaction-processing network may not be made on social media. It may be made in the mining pool’s profitability calculator. Make BSV useful. Make BSV busy. Make BSV profitable to mine. Then let economics do the talking.
