“What I’m getting at is that SaaS is changing. The internet is changing because people have access to AI that is getting good at replicating anything with a mere conceptual idea.

That’s why I asked if BSV can be ripped into a new, better and usable version.

This isn’t only about BSV! It’s about the whole idea of ownership, copyright, patents - the illusion that someone can fully own their creation (whether it’s being sold or not). Do they really? They can enforce first movers rights“strategically” but in reality you don’t truly own something just because you create or engineered it at least not in the way trade and ethics imply. You own it if you can enforce how/when it’s used. The moment you make something public and you do not have the leverage to enforce how it’s used, you can take action (complain all the way up to legal if you have the resources) but was that even wise to begin with given the state of the environment you released it into?

That is why I’m calling into question the ideas around ownership. People create and automatically think if I put it out there people will just use it instead of somebody creating something better because now everyone can create with the help of AI. Either you create altruistically (open source) or you hope to earn from your creation. If the latter then your you need to put some time into thinking about what it means to trade in this AI empowered emerging market because supply/demand marketing, taxonomy drastically changes when everyone has access to a crafting competitive edge.

In this emerging empowered environment you won’t even be able to connect to the parts of the internet that will give you an edge if you don’t have the right tools. When I say “parts of the internet that will give you an edge” I mean part of the internet where we’re way past infrastructure and deep into solving problems simply. Conversation and markets you didn’t even know existed beyond a “google” search.

I mean after all, alot of us didn’t know BSV existed until X-2(y) ago. Who’s to say an adjacent high impact tech isn’t being dev’d right now as we speak? Who’s to say you aren’t that person to dev that idea?”
