I subscribe to an email list where a woman named Steph provides alternative to the mainstream health information. This is from today on Research-backed holes in cancer treatment.

Here are the many holes that the actual research exposes in the cancer industry ->

Fact #1: Chemo has been shown to be only about 2-3% “effective” for most cancers. PMID: 15630849

Fact #2: Almost 90% of all cancer research is funded by the pharmaceutical industry. So the studies telling you which drug is "best" are owned by pharma.

PMID: 33764385 Fact #3: Cancer research never looks at a proper placebo controlled group (the claim is it’s unethical). They always just compare one drug versus another drug. PMID: 24482672

Fact #4: They never sincerely study the “natural progression” of cancers (meaning untreated and left alone). Thus we have no idea if many cancers are actually the deadly pathologies that we are told they are.

Fact #5: We do have several older studies showing people who survived decade or more with large tumors completely left untreated.

One such study on breast cancer said it was shocking, "the number of patients who survive for 5 or 10 or more years with no specific treatment.” PMID: 13870135

Fact #6: Systematic evaluations report that “most cancer drugs do not have strong evidence of benefit on survival or quality of life.” PMID: 28978555

Fact #7: Cancer screenings and the entire premise of “catching cancer early” has been shown repeatedly to NOT improve overall survival. PMID: 23737396, 39038482, 24115361

Fact #8: Autopsy studies reveal that roughly 59% of men have prostate cancer in their body at death. About 20% of women have breast cancer. None of it diagnosed and the people died of other causes.

PMID: 25821151, 29197354, 27601555 This is a multi-layered discussion. But one thing is for sure, what we are told about cancer is definitely not the full picture.

P.S. If you want a shocking visual, look up the mortality curves for thyroid cancer - or I'll drop what it looks like here.

Translation: Way more people are told they have thyroid cancer, but the same number die as 80 years ago. We didn't save lives. We just got better machines that find harmless tumors.
