Republic of England Update – Advancing Sovereignty Through Technology
Republic of England Update – Advancing Sovereignty Through Technology Fellow RoE members and supporters, We’re making steady, determined progress in building a resilient and independent Republic of England. Our focus remains on practical tools that empower individuals, strengthen our community, and lay the foundations for true self-governance.
A key area of development right now is exploring BSV as a potential standard for secure peer-to-peer payments within the RoE ecosystem. This technology aligns closely with our values of decentralisation, low-cost transactions, and individual sovereignty. We’ve had some genuinely promising interactions with the Metanet, Babbage Projects, and various Web3 applications running on the Metanet. These early engagements are opening up exciting possibilities for how we might handle value transfer, membership contributions, and community economics in a transparent, borderless way.
In parallel, our team has been actively diving deeper into blockchain fundamentals and BSV specifically through the Metanet Academy. The insights we’re gaining are invaluable and will help ensure any solutions we adopt are robust, scalable, and genuinely fit for purpose.
This work is part of our broader commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology while staying grounded in the principles of freedom, accountability, and mutual support that define the Republic of England.
We’ll continue to share updates as developments unfold. In the meantime, if you’re a member with relevant expertise or ideas in this space, please connect through the usual channels – your input is always welcome. Together we build.
