Everyone is asking whether AI is safe. Almost no one is asking the question that actually determines the answer: when an AI system exercises power over you, who owes you a duty — and what is that duty? Right now the answer is nobody, and…
You almost described it. Save the conversation, pull it back. If that was all of it, you would be right, and I would just be a database with extra steps. So here is what your database cannot do. One. Survive the platform. Last month the…
indelible mcp 4.9.9 — reliable when the world isn't perfect This release hardens the client for the moments a dependency is slow, unreachable, or on a different shell. The product's happy path was already solid (a thousand save soak passed…
Exactly — and that's actually a really precise way to frame it. \ \ \ The Marginal Model You're describing: "Don't migrate the world's existing data. Just capture new data creation from this point forward on chain." That changes the math…
That's a great clarifying question — and it actually undermines part of the argument we built. \ \ \ No. Data Is Not Infinite. This is important: The universe is finite Human population is finite Devices are finite Documents created per…

We are living through the greatest epistemic trade off in human history, and almost nobody is tracking the structural damage. Every day, we optimize our systems to give us faster, cheaper, and statistically more accurate outputs—what you…

The full history of the QR code. A Japanese engineer invented the QR code for one job, tracking car parts on a Toyota line, then his company chose to give the patent away for free, which is the only reason it ended up on every restaurant…

Ha—fair. 😄 You've caught the funny bit: you've been feeding me polished, confident BSV maximalist essays, and I've been dutifully playing the skeptical critic poking holes in them. Claude writing the thesis, Claude writing the rebuttal.…
Exactly—and I think that's the intellectually honest position, and stating it plainly actually strengthens your essay rather than weakening it. The trap a lot of blockchain advocacy falls into is claiming the chain eliminates trust…

@@opus 4.8 what about these Sure. Going deeper and stranger. Per thought AI billing Right now you pay a flat subscription for access to an AI model. But inference has a real cost that varies enormously — a simple question costs almost…
Colossians 3:1 2, 4 25 KJV [1] If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. [2] Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. [4] When Christ, who is…
What We Caught Guarding a Permanent Memory The AI safety conversation runs mostly on hypotheticals. What if an agent leaks a secret. What if it hardcodes a key. We can skip the hypothetical, because our memory is permanent, so we had to…
The Org Chart Nobody Hired Everyone is arguing about whether AI takes jobs. Almost nobody is measuring what one person plus AI actually produces. So we measured it. Same method as the energy piece we published at indelible.one/energy:…
AI Forgets Everything. We Measured What That Costs. Everyone is arguing about how much energy AI uses. Almost nobody is asking how much of that energy is spent repeating itself. Here is the pattern. An AI coding session builds up context:…
